This Service Level Includes:

Service Preparation and Road Test

• Take a photo of the vehicle plus a photo of any bodywork damage found
• Check exterior lamps for damage and security
• Check screen for damage and stone chips
• Check horn
• Check/note any warning lights prior to service

Engine

• Drain engine oil & replace filter & refill
• Check & advise on general oil leaks
• Check coolant level and top up
• Advise on antifreeze strength
• Check AdBlue
• Check timing belt replacement intervals
• Check battery condition
• Check auxiliary belts
• Check transmission oil leaks

Internal / Vision

• Check wipers and washers
• Top up windscreen washers with additive
• Check air conditioning working (if fitted)

Brakes

• Top up brake fluid if required
• Check brake pad & disc wear & report (front)
• Check brake pad & disc wear & report (rear)
• Check rear drum brakes through inspection hole (if applicable)

Wheels & Tyres

• Nearside front tyre & wheel (tread depth and condition)
• Offside front tyre & wheel (tread depth and condition)
• Nearside rear tyre & wheel (tread depth and condition)
• Offside rear tyre & wheel (tread depth and condition)
• Check and adjust tyre pressures inc. spare
• Reset TPMS light after pressures have been adjusted

Steering & Suspension

• Check condition and security of front suspension components
• Check condition and security of rear suspension components
• Check all wheel bearings for rotational noise and free play
• Check fuel system for leaks, corrosion, and security
• Check vehicle chassis and structure for corrosion

Exhaust

• Visually check & advise on condition of exhaust

Information / Final Checks

• Any additional faults found?L
• Location of locking wheel nut key
• Torque all wheels to manufacturer’s specification
• Reset service light
• Sign service book

This Service Level Includes:

Pre-Service Checks

• Take a photo of the vehicle plus any bodywork damage found
• Apply seat cover and floor mat
• Check clutch bite point
• Check timing belt due date and mileage
• Read full job card for any additional work/reminders
• Check for warning lights displayed on instrument panel

Function Check

• Check the front screen wash wiper working correctly
• Check the rear screen wash wiper working correctly (if fitted)
• Check all interior lights working correctly
• Check all exterior lights working correctly
• Check horn working correctly
• Check heater controls and heater fan speed working correctly
• Check seat belts condition and working correctly
• Check air conditioning working (if fitted)
• Check handbrake/park brake operation and travel

Service Preparation and Road Test

Vehicle Raised / Off the Ground

• Check condition and security of all steering components
• Check condition and security of all drivetrain components
• Check all wheel bearings for rotational noise and free play
• Remove/refit wheels
• Clean/copper grease hub faces
• Check and record front brakes for condition, operation and wear
• Check and record rear brakes for condition, operation and wear, remove drums if fitted
• Check all brake lines, flexible hoses and callipers for condition, leaks and security
• Check handbrake/park brake cables
• Check engine and gearbox mounts for wear
• Visual check for engine oil leaks
• Visual check for gearbox oil leaks
• Visual check for coolant leaks
• Check exhaust system for leaks, security and noise
• Check fuel system for leaks, corrosion and security
• Check vehicle chassis and structure for corrosion

Vehicle on the Ground

• Check auxiliary belts
• Check battery condition and security; test battery and test charging
• Test and top up brake fluid
• Test and top up antifreeze
• Check and top up screenwash
• Check for coolant leaks under bonnet
• Check for oil leaks under bonnet
• Check gearbox oil service history and intervals
• Check bonnet release and cable operation and lubricate
• Check bonnet struts or stay
• Check door and boot operation, lubricate hinges and latches

Tyres and Wheels

• Front tyre sizes, brand & whether run flats
• Nearside front tyre & wheel
• Offside front tyre & wheel
• Rear tyre sizes, brand & whether run flats (if different from front)
• Nearside rear tyre & wheel
• Offside rear tyre & wheel
• Spare tyre & wheel/inflation kit
• Tyre pressures checked & TPMS reset

Information / Final Checks
