ASNU Fuel Injector Testing & Servicing – Park Gate

ASNU-logoModern fuel injectors play a vital role in your engine’s performance, fuel economy, and emissions.

Over time, injectors can become contaminated with carbon deposits and varnish, leading to poor spray patterns, reduced fuel flow, rough running, increased fuel consumption, and loss of power.

At our workshop in Park Gate, the Station Garage team use professional ASNU injector testing and servicing equipment to accurately assess and restore a wide range of petrol fuel injectors, including:

  • Standard port fuel injectors (PFI)
  • Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) injectors
  • Fuel Stratified Injection (FSI) injectors
  • Piezo direct injection injectors
  • Comprehensive Injector Testing

Our fuel injector testing process

Every injector is tested before and after servicing to assess its condition and verify performance. We check:

  • Fuel delivery and flow rate
  • Spray pattern and atomisation
  • Injector opening and closing operation
  • Electrical resistance and functionality
  • Leak testing under pressure
  • Injector balance across the full set

This allows us to identify injectors that are blocked, leaking, sticking, or delivering inconsistent amounts of fuel.

Professional Injector Cleaning & Servicing

Where possible, injectors are professionally cleaned using specialist equipment designed to remove fuel deposits without causing damage. Following cleaning, each injector is retested to confirm improved performance and ensure it meets the required specifications.

Where service kits are available, worn components such as O-rings, seals, filters, and pintle caps can also be replaced before the injectors are reassembled and tested again.

Why should you have your injectors tested?

Faulty or partially blocked fuel injectors can cause a range of problems, including:

  • Rough idle
  • Engine misfires
  • Poor acceleration
  • Increased fuel consumption
  • Higher exhaust emissions
  • Difficult starting
  • Loss of engine performance
  • Engine management warning lights

Professional injector testing removes the guesswork by identifying whether an injector is performing correctly before expensive replacement parts are fitted.

Injector Cleaning for both Modern and Classic Vehicles

Our ASNU equipment allows us to test and service injectors fitted to everything from classic petrol vehicles with conventional fuel injection systems through to the latest GDI, FSI, and Piezo-equipped engines. Whether you’re restoring a classic car, diagnosing a modern drivability fault, or preparing injectors for a performance build, we provide accurate testing and detailed results to help keep your engine performing at its best.

As members of the IGA and RMI, we’re held to independently recognised standards of business ethics, customer service, and workmanship, giving you added peace of mind whenever you bring your car to Station Garage.
